Shipping Policy

BeanHub Australia Pty Ltd (ACN 694 445 344) operates as a marketplace connecting you with independent specialty coffee roasters across Australia. This Shipping Policy explains how orders are fulfilled and delivered.

Section 1

How Shipping Works

BeanHub is a multi-roaster marketplace. When you place an order, each roaster ships their products directly to you from their own facility. This means:

  • Single-roaster orders: You will receive one package from the roaster
  • Multi-roaster orders: You will receive separate packages from each roaster, which may arrive at different times

This direct-from-roaster model ensures your coffee is as fresh as possible, often roasted specifically for your order.

Shipping Costs

Shipping costs are calculated at checkout based on the roaster, delivery address, and shipping method selected.

  • Shipping is calculated separately for each roaster in your order
  • Some roasters may offer free shipping when you spend above a certain amount with them
  • Free shipping thresholds, where available, are displayed on product pages and at checkout

Processing Times

Most orders are processed and dispatched within 1-3 business days. Processing times may vary by roaster because:

  • Many roasters roast to order, ensuring maximum freshness
  • Some specialty or limited edition coffees may require additional processing time
  • Peak periods (holidays, sales events) may result in longer processing times

You will receive an email notification with tracking information once your order has been dispatched.

Delivery Times

Estimated delivery times after dispatch:

Express Shipping

  • Metro areas: 1-2 business days
  • Regional areas: 2-3 business days

Standard Shipping

  • Metro areas: 3-5 business days
  • Regional areas: 5-7 business days
  • Remote areas: 7-10 business days

Please note: These are estimates only and are not guaranteed. Actual delivery times may vary due to carrier delays, weather events, or other circumstances beyond our control.

Tracking Your Order

Once your order has been dispatched:

  • You will receive an email with tracking information (where available)
  • For multi-roaster orders, you may receive multiple tracking emails
  • You can also check your order status by logging into your BeanHub account

Delivery Issues

Lost or Missing Packages

If your package has not arrived within the expected timeframe, please first check the tracking information. If tracking shows delivered but you haven't received it:

  • Check with household members or neighbours
  • Look for a safe-drop location or delivery notice
  • Contact us within 7 days of the expected delivery date at support@beanhub.com.au

Damaged Packages

If your package arrives damaged:

  • Take photos of the damaged packaging and contents
  • Contact us within 7 days at support@beanhub.com.au with your order number and photos
  • We will work with the roaster to resolve the issue promptly

Section 7

Delivery Address

Please ensure your delivery address is accurate and complete. We recommend:

  • Include unit/apartment numbers if applicable
  • Provide delivery instructions for hard-to-find locations
  • Use a delivery address where someone can receive the package (especially for signature-required deliveries)

Important: Once an order has been dispatched, we cannot change the delivery address. If you need to update your address, please contact us immediately after placing your order.

PO Boxes & Parcel Lockers

Delivery to PO Boxes and parcel lockers may be available depending on the roaster and shipping carrier used. Please note:

  • Express shipping to PO Boxes may not be available
  • Parcel size limits may apply for parcel lockers
  • Some carriers do not deliver to certain PO Box or parcel locker locations

If delivery to your preferred address is not possible, we will contact you to arrange an alternative.

International Shipping

BeanHub currently ships within Australia only. We do not offer international shipping at this time.
