Colombia La Serrania is a single origin decaf from the Huila department — one of Colombia's most celebrated coffee-growing regions. Sourced from smallholder farmers working at altitude in the sierra landscape that gives this coffee its name, La Serrania delivers the exceptional sweetness and body that Huila is known for worldwide.
Decaffeination uses the Sugar Cane Ethyl Acetate (EA) method — a natural process where ethyl acetate is derived from fermented Colombian sugar cane. This gentle approach selectively removes caffeine while preserving the coffee's original flavour compounds. No synthetic chemicals. No compromise on taste. The result is a decaf that drinks like the specialty coffee it actually is.
Behaves exactly like a high-quality non-decaf espresso — same recipes, same extraction principles. The vanilla and chocolate notes make for a luxurious evening latte. Equally exceptional as a filter, where the raspberry and brown sugar notes come forward.
Colombia La Serrania is a single origin specialty decaf, roasted in Melbourne and available in 250g and 1kg sizes. Shipped fresh Australia-wide in certified compostable packaging.
